Features
- Wide power, temperature, and automatically scalable injection ranges, and gradient options enable flexibility for all HPLC and UHPLC applications.
- Power range combines ultrahigh pressure up to 1,300 bar and high analytical flow rates up to 5 mL/min for maximum UHPLC performance.
- Lowest delay volumes down to 10 μL allow you to run ultrafast gradients on narrow-bore columns, making the UHPLC pump the ideal front end for LC/MS applications.
- Lowest dispersion volumes let you achieve the maximum chromatographic resolution.
- Faster injection cycles with dual-needle injection enable higher sample throughput.
- Up to 6,144 samples enabled within the footprint of a standard Agilent stack allow higher sample capacity per bench space.
- Multiwash capabilities of the Agilent 1290 Infinity II Multisampler further reduce carryover to less than 10 ppm, even for challenging compounds such as chlorohexidine, for uncompromised data quality.
- A wide range of detectors can be chosen from, including diode array detectors (DAD), variable wavelength detectors (VWD), single or triple quadrupole detectors, or Q-TOFs. Fluorescence detectors (FLD), refractive index detectors (RID), or evaporative light scattering detectors (ELSD) can be used for special applications.
- Lowest detection limits can be combined with an ultrawide dynamic range by using the new Agilent 1290 Infinity II HDR-DAD.
- ISET delivers unchanged retention time and peak resolution, and facilitates seamless transfer of methods between LCs.
- Agilent InfinityLab LC instrumentation can be used with Agilent data systems like OpenLab CDS or MassHunter software. Plus, integration to third-party chromatography systems like Waters Empower or Thermo Scientific Chromeleon is available through the Agilent Instrument Control Framework (ICF), enabling smooth integration into any chromatography data system.
- The 1290 Infinity II System can be extended to a 1290 Infinity II 2D-LC System for highest peak capacity and ultimate chromatographic power.
- Lowest cost per sample can be achieved through ultrafast measurements, for lower total cost of ownership.
- Your choice for performance and sustainability: The 1290 Infinity II LC System has received the My Green Lab ACT (Accountability, Consistency, Transparency) label after an independent audit to verify its environmental impact throughout the product life cycle.

Dr. rer. Nat Tobias Minuth
Lower Saxony State Agency for Water Management, Coastal Defence and Nature Conservation - NLWKN - Hannover - Hildesheim, Dept. for Organic Trace Analysis The PFAS measurement method was very time-saving and easy to establish, so that our routine procedures and the productivity of the laboratory could continue as usual and without disruptions. We were able to start routine measurement of more than 50 PFAS compounds in a very short time using the Agilent PFAS MRM database on our Agilent 1290 Infinity II/6495-QQQ system. The PFC-free HPLC elimination kit was easy to install and allowed us to significantly reduce PFAS blank values. Thanks to the collaboration with Agilent, we were able to provide our customers with a very reliable and highly accurate analysis of PFAS analytes in a very short time. View MoreVideos
