How do I exclude "outlier" wells from my data analysis?
Outliers must be re-assigned to an 'Outlier' group in Wave (Desktop or Controller). Within Wave (Desktop or Controller):
1. Create 'Outlier' Group:
- Open the Assay Result file in Wave (Desktop or Controller).
- Click Modify (upper-right corner).
- Click Groups/Conditions.
- On the Groups/Conditions page, press Add add button to add a new Group. Name the new group 'Outliers'.
- Click Apply.
- Click Modify (upper-right corner).
- Click Plate Map.
- Locate the group name 'Outlier' from the list of groups on the left, then click the group name to select the 'Outlier' group.
- Click the wells on the Plate Map to assign to them to the 'Outlier' group. outliner button

- Click Save As to save the Assay Result data as a MS Excel Workbook (*.xlsx) and import into the applicable Report Generator for analysis.
